Happy Waiting on Wednesday!!Waiting on Wednesday is a new segment I'll be doing every once in a while where I'll be posting entries about books that I'm highly anticipating their release. What's a better way to start my very first Waiting on Wednesday post then with A Court of Wings and Ruin by Sarah J. Maas?! I have been highly anticipating the release of this book ever since I read the second installment. A Court of Wings and Ruin is the third installment in the A Court of Thorns and Roses series. I really became engrossed in this series after I read the second installment, A Court of Mist and Fury. That specific book holds such a big place in my heart and is very special to me, I can't quite put into words about how I feel about ACOMAF because my feels for it are just so immense! I'm expecting ACOWAR to be just as amazing! I cannot wait to dive in! It's release date is May 2nd. I pre-ordered the book a few months ago and I'm really hoping it will be delivered on its' release day. I've have had a time or two where the books don't come until a few days after they release. If that happens with ACOWAR I might just go crawl in a hole and weep because I need this book ASAP. To be honest though I'm quite nervous as to what Sarah is going to do to my heart... but BRING ON THE FEELS. I cannot wait to be back in Prythian with my precious Rhysand and get more time with Cassian and Nesta! I can't wait to be blown out of the water with another fantastic Maas book!
For anyone interested, here is my review for A Court of Mist and Fury. Here is the synopsis via Goodreads for A Court of Wings and Ruin, Feyre has returned to the Spring Court, determined to gather information on Tamlin's maneuverings and the invading king threatening to bring Prythian to its knees. But to do so she must play a deadly game of deceit-and one slip may spell doom not only for Feyre, but for her world as well. As war bears down upon them all, Feyre must decide who to trust amongst the dazzling and lethal High Lords-and hunt for allies in unexpected places.
